Customer Service Policies

About Us

Park Avenue Gifts has been in the retail table top business for over 35 years. Our retail location in Huntington, New York is our flagship store, and our Internet business began in 1997 when we started to see companies taking their business online to reach a wider customer base.

All items sold come directly from the factory, are brand new and 100% authentic. Because of our discounted pricing we are not authorized dealers of some lines we carry. With that said, be assured we only buy from authorized dealers only domestically and abroad.

Online Orders

Our secure Web site is protected by the latest in SSL encryption technology and certified for safe shopping by McAfee HackerSafe and Trustwave – the leaders in credit card PCI compliancy. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order with an expected delivery time and a follow-up mail when your order is shipping that includes shipment tracking information.

Phone Orders

Please call our Customer Service and Support departments at 631-673-0404 and we will be happy to help place your order. We will email or mail a copy of your order to you and/ or a gift card to the recipient, showing an image and quantity of the  items  plus your personal message. 

Special Orders

All orders are considered “Special Orders” and cannot be canceled after 5 days of placement. Most orders ship within 2-4 weeks, unless specified. The approximate shipping time is posted with each manufacturer ,we will contact you if a longer shipping time is needed. We are not responsible if a particular vendor is back ordered on a particular item or pattern, but do all we can to ensure prompt deliveries. 

Gift Cards

Since most purchases may be for a bride or otherwise meant as a gift, we are happy to e-mail or send a gift card to you or the recipient with a message and a picture of your purchase. We also gift wrap your purchase for free and with pleasure. Any purchases that are shipped directly from the manufacturers or supplier cannot be gift wrapped. Also, certain size boxes may not lend themselves for gift wrapping.

Shipping

We ship ground service and fully insured via UPS, FedEx, and/or the US Postal Service. Customers are responsible for the posted applicable fees based on their shipping details. We offer free shipping for any order exceeding $150.00 shipping within the continental United States. Any request for an expedited shipment will be charged separately and upon agreement. Tracking information will be provided for all parcels.

Estimated Shipping Time

Except for items in stock, delivery of orders takes between 2 and 4 weeks from the time an order is placed. We will e-mail you with an approximate shipping date after receiving your order, as particular items from certain manufacturers may take as longer shipping time and you will be notified.

Payments

All orders under $400 will be charged out in full and shipped when the item(s) arrive. Orders over $400 and up to $1000, will be charged a 35% deposit and orders over $1000, require a 50% deposit. The balance due is charged once the order is complete and ready to ship.We accept  MasterCard, Visa, Discover, AMEX, bank and personal checks, wire transfers, ACH payments, and Paypal. All overseas orders are charged in full when the order is placed. Please contact us when and if your credit card information changes prior to us charging the balance of your order, as declined payments due to outdated information cause additional delays and expense.


Refunds

Any refund will be issued and credited to your credit card or original payment method within 7 days.

Returns

Returns are only accepted upon return authorization issued by Park Avenue Gifts, please call us for that information at 631-673-0404. Any breakage or manufacturer defect is to be reported to us within 7 days of receipt, and all original packaging, labels and sleeves must be in the original condition as shipped by us. A shipping return will be given to you at our cost for broken or defected items.

Product and Pricing

We make every effort to ensure accurate product and pricing information, but cannot be responsible for any errors or manufacturers change of retail pricing and will contact you prior to placing and processing your order if there is an error.

Privacy Policy

All personal customer information is secure and held in confidence at all times and will never be shared, sold, disclosed, rented or tampered with in any way.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax on all merchandise delivered within the state of New York. Sales tax is posted and calculated on your order at the rate applicable at the time of sale.
