Hutschenreuther started producing bone china in their factory in Hohenberg/Eger-Germany in 1889. Only a few manufactures produced bone china back then, since the procedure is very challenging and much more complicated than the production of hard porcelain. Hutschenreuther has been thriving at it ever since.
